Australian Parliamentary Delegation Boosts Bilateral Cooperation in Azerbaijan

Baku, Azerbaijan – A distinguished Australian parliamentary delegation, led by Mr. Rick Wilson MP, Co-Chair of the Australian-Azerbaijani Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, recently concluded a productive visit to Baku. The delegation's visit coincided with their participation in the prestigious VI World Forum of Intercultural Dialogue, an event that underscores Azerbaijan's commitment to promoting global understanding and cooperation.

During their stay, the Australian delegation held a series of high-level meetings with key Azerbaijani government officials and ministries, aimed at further strengthening the burgeoning bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Australia. Productive discussions took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where prospects for deepening diplomatic ties and cooperation on regional and international issues were explored. The delegation also engaged with officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, AZPROMO (Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency), and the State Tourism Agency, focusing on opportunities for economic diversification and mutual investment.
